Description

Kroll's has emerged as a popular dining destination, seamlessly blending a classy sports bar vibe with delicious food. Guests rave about the extensive menu, which includes generous salads, tasty pizzas, and crispy tater tots. The ambiance features large screens perfect for catching live sports, making it an ideal spot before games. However, service can be inconsistent; while some patrons enjoyed attentive staff and personalized service, others faced delays in drink orders. Despite these hiccups, the overall experience is boosted by friendly servers and a welcoming atmosphere, encouraging visitors to return for both the food and camaraderie. Highly recommended for sports fans!.

I called Kroll's South Loop on 10/29 to watch the Missouri vs. South Carolina college football game because the bar I was at didn’t have it. James answered and said he’d try to show the game. As a Missouri alum visiting Chicago for work and unfamiliar with local sports bars, I appreciated his help. Although their cable package didn’t include the game, James found a way to stream it using the owner’s account and invited me to watch at the bar. When I arrived, the game was playing on one of their two big screens with live commentary. James was professional and provided outstanding customer service. The food was just as impressive as the hospitality, and they had a great beer and spirits selection. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly, especially the young woman wearing a Bears t-shirt. Kroll’s South Loop is definitely a must-visit in Chicago.

My husband and I visited Kroll's South Loop after the Bears vs. Chiefs preseason game. Our waitress was amazing, and the manager even came by to introduce himself. The seating was just right. The food was delicious, and the drinks were excellent too! I enjoyed the hand-battered chicken strips and fries (not pictured). We've definitely added Kroll’s to our list of favorite spots.

I may have just caught a great batch, but the wings at Kroll's South Loop were outstanding—crispy and coated in a flavorful sauce, exactly what you'd want. The beer selection is solid, and the daily specials are definitely worth exploring. That said, on my last two visits, the wings and pizza fell short of expectations. The wings lacked their usual crispiness, and the sauce was too spicy, almost as if the extra hot version was used by mistake instead of medium. The atmosphere is still nice, though not quite as impressive as I first thought.

I called Kroll’s to watch the Missouri South Carolina collegiate football game 10-29 because the bar didn’t have it where I was. James answered the phone and said he would see if they could show the game. I’m a Missouri alum who lives in Houstonthat was in Chicago on business and clueless about local sports bars. James said that the bar’s cable package didn’t havethe game but he had another idea. He found the game and invited me to watch the game there. When I arrived, James had the gameon my one of their 2 mega screens and turned on the play by play. He explained he accessed the owner’s streaming account toprovide the game for me. He was the epitome of professionalism and customer service. The food was as good as his hospitality!Great beer and spirit selection with a very knowledgeable and accommodating staff, especially the young lady with the Bears tshirt! This spot is definitely on my “must have” list when visiting Chicago

My husband and I came here after the pre season game Bears vs Chiefs. Our waitress was incredible, the manager came out to introduce himself, the seating was perfect. Now, the food was delicious and so were our drinks! (I had the hand batter chickenstrips and fries- not pictured) We added Kroll’s to our favorites list.
