Definitely an awesome hotel restaurant surprised this place isn’t more popular. Drinks: A bit hit or miss. Had a bubbly rosé that had no complexity and the Kostali take on gin and tonic, which was on point. Food: Extremely wide range of dishes asit includes all regions of the Mediterranean, from Europe to Africa to the Middle East. I feel that the dishes don’t tietogether well, but individually they all tasted great. One note is that the lamb ribs kinda tasted Asian because the sauce waslike a sweet and sour sauce. Service: very attentive and quick Ambience: When we arrived, there was live music! It’s a quietrestaurant great for dates or meetings. Also love that there are cozy circular seatings!
**Drinks:** The quality can vary. I tried a sparkling rosé that felt a bit one-dimensional, but their gin and tonic was spot on. **Food:** The menu offers a wide range of dishes inspired by the Mediterranean, spanning Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. While the flavors don’t always perfectly harmonize together, each dish stands out and tastes great on its own. A highlight was the lamb ribs with an unexpected Asian-inspired sweet and sour sauce. **Service:** The staff were attentive and prompt throughout our visit. **Ambience:** We arrived to live music, which added a lovely touch. The restaurant maintains a calm and quiet vibe, ideal for dates or business meetings. The cozy circular seating areas were a particular favorite of mine.
The flavors were beautifully balanced. The bucatini pasta with bacon and nduja was delectable, providing a rich taste that wasn’t overpowering. Dishes such as the spicy bread spread offered both heat and flavor, not merely spiciness. Furthermore, the Mediterranean wine selection was outstanding!
Our experience at Kostali By Naha was exceptional, featuring attentive service and a menu full of fresh, delicious dishes. The comfortable seating and charming decor create a perfect atmosphere for a memorable evening in a surprising location. I highly recommend enjoying a drink on the balcony before or after your meal, but most importantly, don’t miss out on the fantastic food. A heartfelt thanks to Kayla and the entire team for a night we all truly appreciated!
The atmosphere was cozy, with a limited number of tables for high tea. The bar area and live DJ added an enjoyable energy, but I would have preferred a brighter location, as we were seated in a section without much lighting. I did appreciate the table setting, which included a delightful hat hairpin as an accessory. Regarding the tea selection, it consisted of tea bags served in a large pot. I had hoped for loose leaf tea, so I was a bit disappointed to find only tea bags available. The pot was quite substantial, which meant we didn't need refills during our 90-minute visit, but it felt more like it was meant for sharing. Each of us wanted our own tea, so we ended up pouring it ourselves, which was somewhat inconvenient. In my experience with afternoon teas around the city, this was the only place that offered tea in bags. The snack selection leaned more towards sweet treats than savory options, but most of what was provided was enjoyable. As for the service, it was just average. Normally, I would have tipped 20% regardless, but knowing that I had already included a 20% tip in advance made it disappointing to receive such minimal service. Overall, my experience was quite mixed.
