I ate there for the first time with a friend. everything was neat and clean, but I was surprised how expensive everything was. When my food came out, it was the wrong sandwich. After another 5 minutes, another employee will wait and ask what I wanted on my sandwich. they did not know what to go from the menu on their own sandwich. the chicken in my spare sandwich was 30% smaller than the ones they got wrong, and my s... My food was great, the service was even better! I was so excited to finally try this place. delicious vegan comfort food! my friend loved it too. we will definitely be back when we are back in the opposite! the personal was super friendly! Thanks again!
My absolute favorite vegan spot in chicago! diverse sorts on the menu and have never been disappointed! some of my favorites are the filet o’ kalish, bad adz baykin and the one helluva grilled cheese (w/ tomatensuppe). definitiw one has to do for vegan and omnivores alike.
I have mixed feelings about this place now :(Some months ago they changed the menu and took the Nachos and some other good stuff out of the menu.We figured it was the normal menu change so We rolled with the punches and kept coming.Today, I see that they changed the menu again! And They took the Woodland Melt burger out the menu, which was our favorite. Very sad about that.I enjoy the food but the menu changes are killing me.
I always love Kalish! We order delivery from here all the time and eat in person when it is warmer (I don’t want to walk to it in the cold ? lol). I hope they bring back the nachos and the biscoff cake because both were life changing!! We have a baby and have had no trouble bringing our baby and stroller inside the restaurant to eat and there is also plenty of space to have a stroller at an outdoor table as well in warmer weather.
