Jj Fish Chicken Chicago

Of all the JJ Fish locations, this one offers the best prices and is very reliable with takeout timing. While the flavor isn't exceptional, I suspect they fry their chicken wings in the same oil they use for their catfish. The lemon pepper wings were lacking in seasoning.

I ordered a pan of wings and catfish, but they sent the wrong fish—Tilapia instead of catfish. I really dislike Tilapia, and it made the roof of my mouth itch. I can't understand how you could mix up catfish with Tilapia. Apart from that, everything else was fine.

I ordered food through a delivery service and it's only my second time ordering from this location. The first time everything was perfect—everything was hot and delicious. Yesterday, the food was still good and nice and crunchy, just as I wanted. However, all of my dinners were supposed to include cole slaw, but it was missing from all three orders. I called the restaurant and was informed that they were out of cole slaw. At the very least, it would have been nice to have an apology note included with my order. I really don’t enjoy fish without cole slaw.

I order catfish nuggets strawberry banana cream pie, philly steak and carmel cake, the food smelled amazing and looked amazing, the catfish nuggets didn't have enough seasoning asked for lemon pepper), the philly steak was just ok that was my fault for ordering this from a mainly fish&chicken restaurant) the desserts didn't taste fresh. I would try again for catfish nuggets but specifying more seasonings.

Why would you go anywhere else for chicken or fish in Chicago?!! They have the secret ? recipe! The chicken is delicious. It’s just the right crunch, cooked to perfection, seasoned well and the extra sprinkle of seasoning they put on the top just takes it to the next level! I visited Chicago for my birthday last year and I ate this chicken literally every day I was there. I came home and was Jonesing for it! Please bring JJ Fish Chicken to Nashville. This place is a must visit while in Chicago. You definitely won’t regret it. You’re Welcome in Advance! ?
