Itto Sushi - Chicago

The menu offers a wide variety of options, and the staff is both friendly and quick. We allowed the sushi chef to choose our meal, and we enjoyed four courses of fantastic dishes. The fish was incredibly fresh and expertly prepared. This place is a must-try!

The sushi here is fantastic! It's fresh and incredibly tasty! I noticed a lot of Japanese patrons, which I see as a strong indicator of authentic cuisine. The waitstaff is wonderful too. The food took a bit longer than expected since it was a busy Friday night, but they were very apologetic and even treated us to a complimentary cucumber salad! I absolutely love this place!

I can't believe no one has reviewed this place yet! I've been coming here since it first opened when it was located on Clark. Some of the same waitresses and sushi chefs from the '80s are still here! I've never had a bad dish, whether raw or cooked. Our family favorites include the mushroom appetizer served in a pot, the salt-and-pepper smelt, and the mackerel teriyaki. The raw items are always fresh too; I wouldn't trust this kind of food anywhere else!

This place has a very genuine experience of a Sushi Restaurant Bar. The wait staff were very friendly and attentive. The food tasted very fresh and not made to suit an inexperienced taste bud. I had the Shirmp Tempura Udon, and even though it wasn't flavorful it tasted just right. I'm not sure how to explain it, but I would like to go back and try more on the menu because I trust the the chef.

Great tasting sushi. The sushi rice was excellent and the fish fresh and delicious. The beef udon was very tasty, piping hot and the noodles and broth were great. Good selection of sushi and sashimi. The green tea mochi ice cream was good. We went at lunch time and the service was prompt and courteous.
