I just want to start by saying a big thank you to Holu for the birthday wishes and the incredible service I received at the restaurant. It was truly one of the best birthdays I've ever had. The food was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere was wonderful. My favorite dish was the 45-day dry-aged ribeye, and the American Wagyu flatiron was incredibly juicy. I do regret not trying the Miyazaki A5 Wagyu that was on special, but I hope to try it next time. To top it off, the strawberry ice cream was the best craft sundae I've ever had. I highly recommend the carnivorous spread package for a family meal, which is $68 per person and includes a lot of wagyu and dry-aged beef. Overall, a fantastic dining experience.
I had a fantastic experience at this Japanese Steakhouse KBBQ. The service was outstanding, from the server preparing our meat to all the other staff members I encountered. The prices were very reasonable considering the quality and quantity of food. I highly recommend trying the $68 per person Carnivorous Spread package, which includes high-quality steak and a delicious house sauce. The seasonal cocktails were also a hit. I will definitely be returning in the future.
This restaurant is amazing and a must-visit in Chicago. I was so full after eating there that I couldn't have another bite. I regret not taking pictures of the delicious food, but I was too excited to start eating. The "Carnivorous Spread" at $68 per person is the best deal, with 8 pieces of top-quality wagyu and dry-aged beef. Our server, Sara, was fantastic and truly made our dining experience perfect. She had the perfect balance of great food, engaging conversation, and overall dining experience.
Upon entering Holu, you are greeted with a beautiful ambiance. The dry aged beef selection and bar area are especially inviting. The staff is incredibly friendly and polite, and the service is top-notch. The food is truly outstanding. If you are seeking a relaxing evening out with delicious food and good company, I highly recommend Holu. My wife and I will certainly be returning in the future.
