Breakfast was delicious and customer service was excellent. Very personable to me and my boyfriend as well as other guests. The servings are large, I couldn’t even finish everything. Impressed! View all feedback.
What Monica S dislikes about Hashbrowns Cafe:
The loaded waffles were our favorite thing. So so good. We agreed however the panini and burrito had a bit too many eggs and not enough flavor. Loved the killer hashbrowns and sweet potato hashbrowns. The place is a good big meal for a good hangover. Kinda dirty but some of the best brunch places are. Also quite cheap. The service was okay. They were slow sometimes but once we ordered the food came quick. View all feedback.

Not the best place to have brunch.1. Quality: Not good. Bacon was old. Had eggs, bacon, hash browns and toast… how can you mess that up?2. Service: The guy attending looked like he hated his life. Not even 1 friendly smile.3. Price: Too high for the quality you are getting.4. Cleanliness: BAD. Bathrooms are not clean enough. Also, you can see the kitchen from the men’s bathroom and it was a mess.I do NOT recommend this place.
I absolutely love everything about this place - from the name to the food. The service is fantastic, the food is great, and the location in Chicago is perfect with lots of activities nearby. I highly recommend checking this place out for brunch, you won't be disappointed. I give it a 5 out of 5 for food.
My hash browns were burned to a crisp and as hard as a rock. I won't be coming back. Where was the manager?
I dined at the restaurant on Monday morning, and I was likely the only customer there. I ordered the breakfast burrito, but it arrived soggy and wet. By the time I got around to eating the second half, it was no longer recognizable as a burrito and was practically inedible. It was quite disappointing to have to use a fork to eat it, especially since the taste wasn't very impressive either.
