Patrick is amazing and makes delicious drinks. The TouchTunes jukebox is a great addition, and the prices are reasonable. Don't miss the chance to visit and be served by Patrick at this restaurant! View all feedback.
What Scott Spence dislikes about Harrigan's:
Went to go and enjoy the karaoke. My friend was denied with his Irish passport at this Irish bar. Was very rude and told us to leave immediately and would not listen to us. Would never recommend and can find a better bar literally anywhere else in the city. View all feedback.

Our neighborhood place. We always have a great time, whether we go at 4:30 on a Tuesday or 9:00 on a Saturday night.
Strong drinks friendly staff a real Irish Pub with fun karaoke on the weekends would recommend it to friends
Very welcoming karaoke vibes. Just people singing their hearts out and making new friends
This is a classic and authentic Irish pub in Chicago. The staff is excellent and the prices are very reasonable for the quality of food and drinks they offer.
Nestled in the heart of Chicago, this Irish bar offers a blend of lively karaoke and a friendly atmosphere. Patrons rave about the exceptional service, particularly from standout staff members like Bella and Mickey, who enhance the experience with their engaging personalities. While the karaoke nights are a highlight, drawing eager singers, concerns arise about inconsistency in ID checks and rude behavior from some staff, tarnishing the enjoyment for certain guests. The venue's drink specials, partnered food offerings, and vibrant ambiance suggest that with some improvements, this bar could truly reflect the inclusive spirit of the city it calls home.

The restaurant declined to serve my Irish friend even though he showed his passport as ID. It's ironic for an establishment claiming to be an "Irish" bar. I suggest you take your business elsewhere. The bartender asked him to leave after making offensive remarks.
I was looking to enjoy a fun night out with some friends. Unfortunately, the bartender doesn’t know the difference between a fake ID and a valid one. Wouldn’t be the biggest issue, but when challenged, I was met with vulgar language and aggressive attitude. Very shocking.
Mickey is a fantastic bartender, receiving a perfect 10 out of 10 rating. He is extremely friendly and loves to chat with customers. He engages in great conversation and is a true Irish gem in Chicago!

I tried Malort here for the first time so harrigans has sentimental value to me but I have never failed to have a good time here. Karaoke is so fun on the weekends. I love this bar I always convince ppl to go here
Fantastic neighborhood bar! The bartender Mickey is incredibly friendly and skilled at pouring the perfect Guinness.
This restaurant is fantastic! Tony and the staff are extremely friendly, they always have a great selection of Irish whiskey, and best of all, it is a fun place to sing and enjoy the atmosphere.
I had a wonderful time at this restaurant. The karaoke was enjoyable and the staff were friendly. The atmosphere was great. However, there was a bit of a wait for your turn to sing after choosing a song. The drinks were tasty. The bar can get quite busy on weekends and can be a bit hectic.

I stopped by this cozy and quiet Irish dive pub with some friends after a long day of bike riding. Pat provided excellent service and there were great drink specials. The food, sourced from the steakhouse next door that they are partnered with, was delicious. I will definitely be returning.

I absolutely love this Irish bar. While Galway is a close competitor, this spot has a more local atmosphere and the bartenders are consistently excellent.

Glad Reddit told us this was one of the best places in the city for a Guinness and we confirmed it's THE best. Serena, Mickey and Tony are the best bartenders, along with the patient karaoke DJ, Ryan! We've visited pretty regularly for over a year now and my partner and I celebrated our birthdays with them. Bonus is that we order in food when we've had too much Guinness. We live a 20+ min drive away, but always make the effort to visit. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
