Goa - Chicago

I ordered the mushroom rice and was disappointed to find that it was overly salty and predominantly flavored with soy sauce. The portion size was also quite small for the high price. My husband's paneer dish was similarly disappointing, with only a few pieces of paneer for the price. Overall, we were not impressed with the quality or value for money. It's a pass for us. It's especially disappointing considering the reputation associated with Goan cuisine.

I had dinner at Bar Goa last night, and it was fantastic! The service was excellent and the food was wonderful and authentic. I was with someone from Goa, so I can confirm that this is the place to go for excellent Goan cooking.

The worst dining experience with an automatic 20% gratuity added, which was not justified at all. The service was not worth the money and the bartender was terrible.

There is nothing Indian about it. Sweetened soup with chicken pieces added and the employee that served me the chicken bowl didn’t ever cleaned his hands after with his nose. Disgusting. Just skip it.

$10 for this? I think maybe one tablespoon barely of yogurt was in the Samosa Chaat A complete ripoff! please do better. I rarely go to the city and I was totally let down!
