Giordano's - Chicago
Giordano's
Description
At this Chicago-style pizzeria, experiences seem to be a mixed bag. While many diners rave about the delicious, authentic deep-dish pizza and friendly service, others have encountered egregious customer service issues, particularly with the general manager's behavior. Guests commend the pizza's freshness and generous portions, noting that it's worth the wait despite the 45-minute preparation time. Ideal for pre-concert dining, the restaurant boasts a lively atmosphere and prompt seating. However, inconsistent service—from attentive staff to lapses in follow-up—has been reported. Overall, this establishment offers mouthwatering pizzas, but potential visitors should brace for varied service experiences.

This is a nice restaurant in a very convenient location. However, the individual deep dish pizza I ordered didn't look or taste fresh. The crust was thick, but the filling was lacking.
Luis was fantastic! I absolutely love this place. I had a wonderful experience here. The bar down the street was a bit unfriendly, but when I came to Giordano's to order a pizza and a glass of wine, Luis made all the difference. He really improved my evening! I highly recommend this restaurant!
I stopped by to try the deep-dish pizza and was informed it would take 45 minutes to bake, so I ordered the sampler appetizer in the meantime. We chose the Chicago classic pizza, and I really enjoyed the freshness of the vegetables in it. We were able to walk in and be seated immediately, and the restaurant had a good amount of seating available. Our server was friendly, but I wish she had checked in on us a bit more during our meal to offer refills or additional drinks.
I ordered a beef sandwich as always but this time the meat smelled funny. It was the first time that happened but I am wondering if due to meat prices going up, this will be happening now. I will no longer order that sandwich. Food: 1 Service: Delivery Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $20–30
Golly Gee this place blew me out of the water, and in a literal sense due to being stationed on a naval base for a good 40 years! The fellas all told me I needed to come to Giordanos for some authentic deep dish pizza and they did not lead me astray. My waitress pulled cheese higher than I had ever seen in a pizza before. I was nestled in a padded booth but also in a bed of cheese. Cheers to you for a fantastic culinary experience that dragged this old sea dog to land. And a HOOYAH to the manager for his service to our beautiful country as well. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30
