We ordered ahead, since there were six in our party.The food came out pretty much exactly on time for our requested time (maybe even a little earlier.)The pizza was phenomenal, the portions were large, and the price was pretty good for what you got.The duo that runs the place are really kind and welcoming, lending to our enjoyment of the place.I only ate at a few places in Chicago, and George's was definitely the best one.Spend the extra money and get real pizza made with care at George's. You won't regret it.

Payment is only accepted online via credit card, and they do not take phone orders. We tried the 10” Clooney’s ER/Meat Lovers pizza and really enjoyed it—we even finished the whole thing! My friend, who has tasted pizzas from Lou’s and Giordano’s, said this one was her favorite out of the three. However, it is a bit less convenient to get to.

I moved to Chicago 3-4 years ago and have been on a mission to find the best Chicago pizza. George’s is on the pricier side, but it is worth it every once in a while. Very filling pizza. My partner and I order a large and it lasts us 2-3 meals. I wouldn’t recommend paying through the website (not the most secure— my partner’s credit card info was leaked) as they use an insecure third party. But if you pay in cash, it’s worth it 100
