The shrimp boil on Tuesdays is definitely worth every cent. I haven't been disappointed with anything so far. It's always a reliable place for casual food and drinks.
The cheese curds were delightful! The cheeseburger, although simple, was truly fantastic! My favorite part was definitely the fries—they were crispy and full of flavor. They also offer bottled non-alcoholic beer, which is a great addition.
I'd been a very long day at work, and the two of us were searching for a place to have a late-night dinner in Chicago. We picked G&O, having always been intrigued. It was a great choice. Cool vibe--super-casual, bit open garage door onto a patio. Noticeable music, but not overwhelmingly loud. Great beer list, featuring some local stuff. Much more interesting menu than your typical bar. And really welcoming, friendly service. Fried chicken was on special, with mashed potatoes. And it was totally, memorably delicious.
