This was an Experience, not just a meal. From Beet Sorbet to Octopus Tacos to the Best bite of Pork Belly ever..... even the piñata desert. Simply a sublime meal. Online booking was super easy. Staff couldn't have been friendlier. Terrific experience. View all feedback.
What Brady Beer dislikes about Frontera Grill:
The menus had different prices on them , the service was terrible.. the server had no manners and was extremely rude not sure if she was on something or not.. might I add that it wasn't very busy but yet she managed to forget to put an order in. I Had to go to the bar to even pay the tab .. needless to say she didn't work.for her tip so we left nothing ! worse service I've ever experienced and the food wasn't nothing... View all feedback.
We have been here for years, cooler place to have a bite or a drink.
Snickers is always so much fun! Katerina the bartender was awesome and John the owner always has something good to say. I got a bacon cheeseburger and it was top notch!

We dined with out of town guests who had a special interest in this restaurant. Unable to get a reservation, we took our chances and dropped by for brunch at about 1pm. We were told there would be a wait of one hour but could look for seats at the bar. That room was full and I inquired about the table for four outside that was empty and they told us we could take it! Strange that the hostess does not keep track of those tables, but we enjoyed the spot, although it was a very hot day. The special strawberry/habanero guacamole was delicious but the queso fundido was strangely flavorless. The black beans were very good, the orangy ones not so much. I had ceviche which was plentiful enough for a main course. The pork tacos were very good.
This is one of the finest restaurants in the city. I enjoy dining here, though not as often as I'd prefer. The food is excellent and truly authentic. The menu is consistently fresh and features a variety of local ingredients. Whether you're looking for brunch, lunch, or dinner, all the options are fantastic. If you're craving delicious, authentic Mexican cuisine along with great drinks, this is the place to go. They regularly introduce fresh and new items. Rick Bayless is undoubtedly one of the best chefs around.
