Best carnitas skillet I have ever had. My girlfriend had the choco pebble French toast and they were also very good. Not too sweet but just enough. Pepe was our server and he was attentive and very great. I cannot wait to come back. View all feedback.
What Eric Arellano dislikes about Flo:
As an alumni of UNM, brunch misses the mark for me. The potatoes served with both dishes were so bland they don't scream New Mexico with that love of chile. Honestly a little more salt would have helped, but there isn't any good flavor for something that takes half the plate. I would argue the breakfast burrito doesn't compare to what you actually find in New Mexico. Egg Bacon or sausage or adobada (which is on the m... View all feedback.

Flo has such an amazing brunch menu. There’s something for everyone. It’s very reasonably priced. The drinks are really good! The variety of homemade hot sauces really does it for me. I highly recommend the carrot one. Their black beans are fresh and not mushy. Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Easily my favorite spot in the area to grab an amazing breakfast. I never miss this spot when I come to Chicago. I love the bloody mary, the beer back, the food is on par. Unique and full of flavor. if there is a wait, worth it. OR be like me and get there when they open and take your time. Amazing smothered burrito for a fair price. Refreshing to have simple and regularly priced miller high life paired with superior dishes.
Have an amazing experience here everytime. The staff and owners are so friendly. Great bloody Mary’s which are hard to find in the city!
Love everything about this place. The food is fantastic and the feel/vibe is very friendly and homey, like you feel a belonging. Plan in coming here more, especially when the weather warms back up because it's a decent walk for us, and parking can be tough to find at dinner. Highly recommend for brunch or dinner.
Great brunch spot! Very family friendly too. Food is always good (shout out to the fruity pebbles French toast!
Came in for brunch today had passed this place many times and saw the good reviews. It definitely lived up to the hype. We had the Lobos Scramble with carnitas and the Huevos Verdes with chorizo both very good and flavorful. The huevos verdes was unique and unlike most basic Tex mex brunch dishes, in a good way. Attentive service as well. Will be back!

Good came out fast and the menu was pretty good and diverse! Would definitely go back
As a native of the southwest I’d like to let everyone know that this is by far the best taste of New Mexican cuisine you can get in the Midwest. The green chile burger is to die for and could easily challenge some of my favorite places establishments in New Mexico. Glad to have this hidden gem in the Chicagoland area.
Spectacular attention to detail by cooks in the back, awesome southwest flavor with exceptional flavor. I'm actually blown away by the respect these staff are showing all individuals with the mixture of races and creeds in this restaurant.. this is a definite must visit.
Speedy service with a smile and good food…you do not need more to have good meal.

I have been coming here 15+ years since I first moved to the area, I would consider myself a loyal regular. Supported them during covid by ordering carryout when I could and since things have gotten back to normal back too going weekly and taking friends all the time. I wouldn't write a review but I was so upset after our recent visit. I brought a friend that was visiting from out of country and sat at the bar, the bartender who I think might be the owner, could not wait to get rid of us, after grabbing our plate she immediately gave us our check and then came back shortly and wanted to take it before we had even had a chance to look at it but obviously that was supposed to be a signal to pay and get out. My friend felt very uncomfortable and immediately gave her card so we could at least continue out conversation but at this point she came back with the processed receipt and literally asked us if we could take the conversation elsewhere as there were regulars waiting to be seated. Note there was no one waiting to be seated and there were empty tables. Its been years since I have been anywhere that treated a customer like this, it was very upsetting. I used to come here every weekend, even on my own without friends I would sit at the bar having breakfast, reading a book or news and not once was I ever treated this way. Well after many years now looking for my new favorite place.

We first discovered this place before the pandemic but waited to go until they had a full menu, including sopapillas, which are a staple in New Mexico cuisine. My wife and I both grew up in New Mexico and looked forward to eating some hatch green chili infused entrees. We went for lunch on a Saturday and asked for sopapillas and were told they don't make them until 4pm. Then we ordered a Green Chili Hamburger and Chicken Enchiladas with green chili. The Hatch green chili in both were not only very mild, but had no flavor. The food was not bad, just not good New Mexico food. Very disappointed. The menu is New Mexican in name only, unfortunately.
I lived in Chicago for about 4 months, and Flo was my neighborhood brunch spot. I visited at least 4 times, so I have no idea why I never checked in there! It always had a line out the door, so make sure to plan accordingly. They did have coffee and water available while you are waiting.

Fantastic latin aromen paired with an exciting drink menu. I had luke chile chilaquiles with a CBD spiked smoothie. I was filled, chilled and completely satisfied when I left.
