Was Gerardo Ramirez at Feida Bakery a mag?
While the place is small, they've got a seating area right behind the wall with the fridge, but to most outsiders, this is a quick in and out stop. Definitely don't be afraid to try the pastries due to their names or appearance, you literally cannot make a wrong choice. They have unusual mochi-like breads on the left of the case and to the right, the unusually delicious hot-dog-wiener-in-a-roll-of-bread. Also, if you... View all feedback.

What Shiyou Huang dislikes about Feida Bakery:
The food is excellent, the service is outstanding, the prices are reasonable, and the quality is top-notch. Honestly, it's a fantastic place—my favorite Chinese bakery in Chicago! They offer breakfast, brunch, and snacks, with a focus on takeout; most of their items are meatless and nut-free. Plus, they have great hours, opening early and closing late. View all feedback.

This place only accepts cash, but I managed to get all of this for just $5.90! The pastries may not be the prettiest, but they were all delicious. From left to right: Lotus Paste Mini Mooncake, Winter Melon Cake, ?? (some sort of sticky rice cake filled with red bean paste), and a taro paste cake. My favorite was definitely the red bean sticky rice; the texture was perfectly balanced—not too sticky and not too dense. The taro paste also had a wonderful texture, which I've only really come across in Chinese bakeries, at least in my experience.

This must be my favorite bakery shop in Chinatown. The prices are amazing! I stop every time I go to Chinatown. My favorite is the winter melon bread. It has such a beautiful texture. There are many ways to choose from you.

This traditional Chinese bakery offers incredibly affordable prices. On our first visit, we tried the big pork buns, mung bean biscuits, gai zai cookies, and coffee Swiss roll, and we couldn't get enough! The very next day, we returned for more Swiss rolls, mung bean biscuits, six big pork buns, and a few other breads. While the flavors may not be the absolute best in the world, they definitely have that authentic taste filled with rich flavors. Plus, the prices are literally half of what you'll find at the nearby store. We'll definitely be back for more bread!

It was a very great place, it was clean, pretty great decor. It also had a dine in and cold drinks. The food was clean, cheap, good quality, and it was absolutely delicious. There was so many desserts and pastries, not too many choices that it’s overwhelming. GREAT price, $5 and you can buy a lot of tasty things with great quality and taste. Authentic chinese pastries and desserts. I can’t recommend enough for you to go there. They also had great service. BY THE WAY THEY only accept cash. It is also very traditional and nothing too thrilling.
