Everest offers a mixed dining experience. The food, though well-seasoned and perfectly cooked, falls short of Michelin star quality. The service received mixed reviews, with some diners praising the attentive staff and others criticizing slow service. While the ambiance and view were generally lovely, some guests were disappointed by the obstructed views. The wine pairing selections were underwhelming due to the glassware used. With a high price point that many felt didn't justify the overall experience, Everest's impending closure will leave diners with fond memories of its wonderful cuisine and service.

Was Micheál Ó at Everest a mag?
In one word: OUTSTANDING. We have had the pleasure of dining here twice, and both experiences were absolutely fantastic. The service was impeccable, the wine selection was excellent, the cocktails were superb, and the food? Ooh La La! After our meal, we had the opportunity to meet and chat with Chef Jean Joho, and we passed along greetings from Paul Haeberlin in Illhaeusern, France. The view from up high is breathtak... What Xzavier Oberbrunner dislikes about Everest:
I didn't get seated where I requested to get seated. I reserved almost three months in advance in order to secure the table I wanted for my first wedding anniversary. We got sat right by where all waiters convene. It felt like I was eating in the kitchen. I had to ask for a refill. They're custom was to congratulate you on whatever you were celebrating upon arrival and that didn't happen. The waitress just dropped of... View all feedback.

Eating was excellent. well seasoned, perfectly cooked, complex dishes. service not so much. the courses should move at the pace of the diner and we spent a lot of time waiting. even someone had to fly up for the bill.

S special place that holds great memories of family celebrations and life milestones. The perfect location for an anniversary or milestone birthday.

When we heard that Everest was closing New Year's Eve, we had to return. It was not disappointing. As usual, the food was superior, as was the staff. It is wonderful to splurge once in a while. This restaurant will be missed.

After our meal, we had the opportunity to meet and chat with Chef Jean Joho, and we passed along greetings from Paul Haeberlin in Illhaeusern, France. The view from up high is breathtaking, particularly looking west, although the tables by the windows seem to be in high demand and booked well in advance. Otherwise, I’ll let these photos speak for themselves.

We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The staff was friendly and attentive, and they were incredibly down-to-earth when we asked about the dent in one of our spoons. We celebrated our anniversary here and truly enjoyed the meal, appreciating the variety of dishes without overwhelming portion sizes. The traditional touches, such as amuse bouche and sorbet before dessert, added to the charm. I adore this style of classic French cuisine and hope it continues to thrive.
