Had brunch at Etta Bucktown on Sunday around 12:30 pm. Pulled up on a casual weekend and snagged a spot on the rooftop — service was super friendly, staff didn’t miss a beat between rounds. Food was fire: the wood‑fired focaccia w/ ricotta honey margherita pizza, ricotta pillows, Young Farm Caesar salad and an espresso martini to close it out—everything hit just right¹. Zero complaints, neighborhood gem. 5. We were visiting from Dallas and a friend recommended Etta’s. It did not disappoint. We had the pork and it was tender and delicious. We also had the burrata and endive salad and focaccia with the most amazing honey and whipped butter. Unfortunately we were sitting next to two of the most churlish women who spend the entire time complaining about friends and family members and using foul language. One was louder than the other. Despite that we had a lovely meal and would highly recommend Etta’s. I have been here for dinner a number of times but this was my first brunch experience. Fantastic service as always and the food was all delicious. The server provided excellent recommendations for the whole table. Admittedly I did think it was a bit priceyfor what it is, but that’s brunch in Chicago and at least everything is fresh and made in house vs other brunch’s churningout more generic dishes and experiences.

Etta is AMAZING! Unfortunately, we were so hungry that I failed to take photos of the burrata, focaccia, and the wood fired chicken! Everything we ate was incredible. The flavors were amazing, and everything was very fresh. The highlights of the mealwere the fire pie (we requested garlic to be added), the pork porterhouse, wood fired chicken (holy moly), and thefocaccia! The service was extremely attentive, and the venue is wonderful. I can’t wait to indulge here again SOON!
