Was Nicole at Estereo a mag?
They play good old school Cuban music. It would be nice if they killed the table in the back to have room to dance. The alcohol is reasonably priced. The only headache is parking. But a great place to visit for a drink and good music both locals and visitors. The last time I went it smelled like a shoe box. View all feedback.
What Candy dislikes about Estereo:
I went on a Monday and they were playing Spanish music that reminds me of El burrito sabanero. I have heard their weeknd music is way better. I 'll go back to see if this is true.. Drinks and ambiance was great. Staff could be more friendly. View all feedback.
I didn't drink the night I visited, but I was with some friends who drank. the bartenders still ensured that they were looking after me and even refilling my seltzerwasser, which was super thoughtful! I bought my friends a few shots so I could leave a tip. the personal is awesome! add them to the wheel decor and this place is easily an 11/10.
Worst experience. they deny our entry after they show empty and ids just because they determine that we were not in order. Now, let me tell them, after a 16-hour shift man is ripening not drunk or high they are mature and what they have done is called discriminatory. I asked my associates if they wanted to go and they said estero and they discriminated us? They thought one of my employees was drunk, she was not tired after a long layer. we didn't argue that we just left. but I feel very disappointed.
One of the best mezcal selections in Chicago. No food here, but they allow you to bring your own. Mixed drinks are sometimes too sweet. Fills up quickly.
The salt is so good!!!
Proceed with caution if you choose to visit. The security personnel at the entrance have a reputation for physically assaulting or attacking customers. I've seen multiple reports of similar experiences. Unfortunately, no action has been taken, and the owners have a responsibility to ensure the safety of their patrons, which they have failed to uphold. If legal action were pursued against the owners and the doorman, I believe the plaintiffs would have a strong case.
