Elevate Coffee - Chicago
Elevate Coffee
Description
Tucked in Boystown, this clean, minimalist café is a reliable stop for standout specialty coffee—matcha, cold brews and inventive flavors—paired with free Wi‑Fi and a quiet atmosphere that’s good for work or a relaxed breakfast. Friendly, accommodating staff often craft custom drinks, though beverage consistency and food quality vary. Sandwiches and toast can be generous but sometimes feel overpriced; pastries are limited. The space could use warmer, cozier touches and steadier service to match its excellent coffee.

Friend and I stopped in for coffee as this was my first time. They got the salted caramel cold brew and I got the honey vanilla latte and they were both delicious. Would walk the few extra blocks to come here over Starbucks any day.
I think it’s a lovely spot! Good WiFi, clean, and free of major distractions on the walls. The drinks can be really inconsistent though, to the point I just throw away my drink if it isn’t good. Some of the baristas take the extra care to ensure my regular order (cold brew with oat milk sugar free vanilla) is mixed up well and delicious. Some don’t even try and/or neglect to put a good amount of the syrup. Those are the drinks that instantly get thrown away. So I tend to stop in only if I see the specific good baristas working
This was a nice place; unfortunately the latte was undrinkable. I assume based on reviews this was some kind of anomaly, but I make it a point to try independent coffee spots every chance I get, and this was the worst latte I can remember in years. It was very *plastic* tasting and/or heavily burnt. The space was nice and everyone was friendly it was hopefully just an isolated incident. YMMV
Cute neighborhood spot. Easy to work from with plenty of seating and decent wifi. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Service: Dine in
