El Solazo is a neighborhood favorite that has made a strong comeback after some inconsistency. With amazing service, tasty food, and great cocktails, it's a must-visit spot for celebrating special occasions or just enjoying a night out. The limited menu allows for a more refined experience, making it stand out from other Mexican restaurants in the area. While prices may be on the higher side, the overall experience makes it well worth it. Whether you're a long-time customer or a first-time visitor, El Solazo promises a memorable dining experience that will keep you coming back for more.
The tacos are very good very generous amount of the meat and garnished with fresh herbs, vegetables and cheese, etc. The place was small but well worth the wait!!!. It was very clean and the service was great. Byob was a plus! I'm definitely going back!
From the Asada tacos to the enchiladas this is the best Mexican food I have ever had. I hope they add Huaraches to the menu one day!
Great food service and beautiful waitress, only they open at 9:00am and 9:30am on Saturdays. But there open until 2am.
Long time customer. Even before the fire. Finally had the opportunity to try the new menu. It’s not your typical Mexican restaurant. Instead it’s more of an experience. The service is great and the menu is small but the limited menu gives thechefs time to pay more attention to what they are sending out. Excellent salsas, great food presentation and tasty cocktails. Definitely makes it standout from the rest of the neighborhood restaurants. It’s on the pricier side and that’s the onlyreason I am giving it 4 stars. For what’s around you can get more but you will not get the experience that Solazo provides. Go try it out for yourself and make sure to have a reservation.
As a long-time customer, dating back even before the fire, I finally had the chance to sample the new menu. This restaurant is not your typical Mexican establishment; it's more of an experience. The service is excellent, and while the menu is small, this limited selection allows the chefs to focus on delivering high-quality dishes. The salsas are outstanding, the food presentation is beautiful, and the cocktails are delicious. This truly sets it apart from other restaurants in the neighborhood. It's on the pricier side, which is the only reason I’m giving it 4 stars—while you can find more for your money elsewhere, you won't get the unique experience that Solazo offers. I highly recommend trying it out for yourself, and be sure to make a reservation!
