What Zack Wright doesn't like about El Che Bar:
Food was amazing, had the party steak and it was one of the better ones I've had in my life, was a bit on the rarer side than wanted, but didn't matter... was amazing. Very expensive meal, but great. View all feedback.
The food and environment was amazing! Celebrated a big birthday and the place didn't disappoint we had an amazing view of the fire station. The grill chef and his wife stopped by and they couldn't be nicer and welcoming to our table. We had the party meat plate (best cut of meat I've ever had!??? , fries, scallops and empanadas were all tasty. Their signature margarita was ? Definitely will be back thank you!!
Great staff and ambiance, went to celebrate a birthday and off the bat they knew from the reservation! They are professional and welcoming.
Over hyped and overpriced. Ran out of fish and salmon so I was stuck with limited seafood options (4 piece shrimp and 5 oz lobster tail). My partner had medium well rib eye and was okay. Don 't let social media fool you. Cute place but wasn 't worth the trip as I still left hungry.
My friend (who is a very proud Argentinian) and I dined here on a Saturday evening. All we can say is my fellow Argentinian patron felt at home and my heart was full! Must visit for foodies and steak lovers when visiting Chicago! The staff was friendly, especially our server Guillermo. Guillermo took care of us by delivering suggestions on pairing menu items to best serve our appetite while also giving us the authentic Argentinian dining experience, without us having to order the immaculate but encumbering 16 oz and 32 oz juicy steaks, which stand on their own in terms of authentic parilla -style steaks. We ordered three choices of meat bites (chorizo, sweetbread and tira de asado) which Guillermo suggested we pair with an award winning Malbec wine that did not break the bank. We topped this off with the Flan and dulce de leche. Will definitely dine here again!
Amazing food, atmosphere, and experience. Can't wait to visit again!!!
