While the food receives high praise, especially the customizable pizzas and standout breakfast burrito, some diners have faced issues with hidden dairy in the crust, raising concerns for vegans. Service is noted as friendly and attentive, and the lively atmosphere makes it a great spot for families and friends alike. However, drink prices have drawn criticism for being disproportionately high. With spacious outdoor seating and dog-friendly options, this eatery continues to be a popular choice for locals, despite some dietary mishaps.
This restaurant offers a selection of vegan options, including the ability to customize your own pizza with vegan cheese. However, the standout dish for me was the breakfast burrito, which I have been craving since going vegan. It was absolutely delicious! Additionally, their beverage selection is also very enjoyable.
This restaurant has a large outdoor patio area in the back and some outdoor seating in the front. I chose to sit outside and found plenty of well-spaced picnic tables with umbrellas. The staff was attentive and friendly. They played a good variety of music at a reasonable volume. I tried the V deep dish pizza with V sausage, cheese, and other toppings. My non-vegetarian friend said it was pretty good and I agreed. The sangria was delicious, though I couldn't confirm if it was made with vegan wine. When I took my leftovers home, I discovered Parmesan cheese on it. I called the restaurant and was told they use vegan Parmesan. It is important to note that the regular crust is not vegan, but the gluten-free crust is.
After dining at this restaurant, I experienced a terrible reaction to the food days later. When I called to inquire, I discovered that the crust contains dairy despite offering vegan cheese and toppings. It appears that the only vegan option may be the gluten-free crust. Unfortunately, I won't be returning to give it another try as I fell ill for the entire day after eating here.
They have a spacious outdoor area at the back and a smaller outdoor seating area at the front. I chose not to dine inside. The outdoor area has many picnic tables with rain umbrellas. The staff were very friendly. They played a variety of music, some of which was rare and not so good, but it was not too loud to have a normal conversation. I tried the deep dish pizza with vegan sausage, cheese, and other toppings. My non-vegan friend said it was good and I agreed. The sangria was delicious as well (I cannot confirm if it was made with wine). When I got home and unpacked my leftovers, I found Parmesan cheese on the pizza. After calling the restaurant, I was told they used vegan Parmesan cheese. It's worth noting that the regular crust is not vegan, but the gluten-free crust is.
I walked here and day later after terrible reaction to eat, I cried out and found out that there is milk in the crust, although they have vegan cheese and vegan toppings. Perhaps the gluten-free crust is the only vegan option? not safe. I will not be back to try, even though I was sick all day after.
