Do we really need to explain how amazing the Dunk is? Don't forget to order a small with cream and a side of donut holes. Absolutely delicious!
I recently visited the Dunkin Donuts located at 7240 W Devon Ave, Chicago, IL 60631 and had a negative experience with a manager. I ordered a large iced matcha latte and a coffee cake muffin. The cashier processed my order normally, but the manager standing behind her was criticizing her for being too slow and not using the cash register in a way she deemed correct. The manager instructed the cashier to quickly prepare the donuts as soon as a picture of a lady appeared on the screen, and to stop interacting with the register. This was done in a rude manner, with harsh language and commands. The cashier politely explained that she was more familiar with a different register, but the manager dismissed her explanation, stating that it was not an excuse. I felt sympathetic towards the cashier and found the manager's behavior inappropriate and unnecessary. The manager was a middle-aged Hispanic woman, while the cashier was a younger white woman. I have reported this incident to corporate in hopes that they can identify and take appropriate action against the manager. No one deserves to be treated poorly, regardless of their job in the fast food industry.
The service was excellent. However, the coffee was not hot enough and the doughnuts were awful. I understand that Dunkin' Donuts may not have the best reputation, but today they were particularly poor.
I had no issues placing my coffee order online, but my experience in-store was disappointing. The two female employees were rude and had a negative attitude. As I was leaving with my daughter, one of the workers just stared at us. I won't tolerate that kind of treatment, especially when I'm with my daughter. It's frustrating to hear the company promote a NO DISCRIMINATION policy while experiencing judgment from their staff.
