Dongpo Impression - Chicago

I was in the mood for some delicious, spicy Chinese food and came across this restaurant. The food was incredibly tasty and served in generous portions. The service was fantastic; the staff was friendly and eager to help. The place was also very clean. I will definitely recommend it! Food: 5/5

My friends invited me to try Dongpo Impressions, and I must say, I was genuinely impressed. The restaurant had a somewhat generic ambiance, but I appreciated that the interior was clean and had a relaxed vibe, especially since there weren’t many customers during our visit. Initially, the service was excellent; however, as our order arrived, the waitstaff became a bit less attentive, which was a little disappointing. Now, onto the food! Every dish we tried was seasoned to perfection. If I had the chance to order the same meal again, I definitely would. Overall, I highly recommend Dongpo Impressions to anyone looking for quality Chinese cuisine—you won't be disappointed!

Authentic SiChuan culinary. Variety of choices, classic and original. Foods are spicy, have to take note. Very good portion of food.Great and friendly staff, cautious with the customer needs from time to time. Can ask for recommendations from staffs if you're not sure what to eat.Restaurant atmosphere slightly run down. Wifi is not working.Toilet can be cleaner.Price is good.

I am not sure why they don’t have 4.9 stars. We had excellently tasty and tender spicy pork slices on soft tofu as the main dish, four appetizers that are all delicious and authentic and two desserts.The prices are so good for the quality and warm friendly service.

We were hungry so we ordered a bunch of food among the three of us: green peppercorn fish fillet (deliciously numbing, lots of fish and veggie, must get) meizhou chili chicken (great flavored, lots of chili, good crunch) peking dumpling (plain but does not disappoint, taste like a warm hug) zhongs dumpling (sweet sauce but still delicious) dongpo sausage (authentic and unique, good to try) dan dan noodle (not my favorite) hot and sour soup sweet sticky rice (free item, natural sweetness, like it)The food came well packaged for delivery and at good pricing. Would definitely order from here again!
