Chef Andrew is absolutely incredible. Look no further if you are looking for an in home dinner or catered event. We have hired Andrew twice now. The first time was for a dinner party where he wowed us with a Provençal-themed menu for a friends ' birthday celebration. He was personable and interacted with us at the perfect level and his good was delicious. I most recently hired him again to cater for our annual holiday party for 60 people. Andrew rose to the challenge of my request for a Swedish smorgasbord in honor of Santa Lucia day. His spread was INCREDIBLE! I was beyond impressed with his willingness to work with my menu requests and recipe suggestions and he put his own wonderful spin and flare into some tried and true family recipes that were just out of this world. My husband and I are huge foodies and have eaten at some of the top restaurants in the world. I can say without a doubt that chef Andrew and the crying onion is of high quality and well worth every dime!

Andrew assisted me in hosting a birthday dinner party for my husband, and he was simply outstanding! He crafted a delicious menu and was flexible with any modifications I requested. He was attentive to my questions leading up to the event, arrived promptly, and was friendly with both me and the guests. The meal he prepared was exquisite, and he left my kitchen spotless afterward. The menu featured multiple courses, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food! I felt completely at ease and was able to savor the evening with our guests. His services were also incredibly valuable! I've already recommended him to friends and will undoubtedly work with him again in the future.

We visited a pop-up event at the Crying Onion, and the exterior is quite unremarkable. However, once you step inside, you're welcomed by a beautifully renovated space (still a work in progress). Drew, the owner, kindly gave us a tour of the building and shared its history and significance. The food was absolutely delightful! We enjoyed lamb tacos, shrimp pasta with basil, lemon, white wine, and garlic, followed by donuts for dessert. This was a spontaneous gathering, and while we had decent expectations, they were surpassed beyond our hopes as Drew truly knocked it out of the park for us!
