Corner Bakery - Chicago
Corner Bakery
Description
Corner Bakery on Dearborn blends cozy, bustling charm with a dependable menu of soups, sandwiches, coffee and pastries. Friendly, attentive staff and family-friendly touches (complimentary kid cookies, helpful lost‑and‑found) make it a popular lunch spot for office workers and travelers. Signature baked goods and lattes win fans, but freshness and speed can be inconsistent — some breads and cakes arrive stale or reheated and a few hot dishes run dry. Overall, a warm downtown bakery-café with tempting treats and mixed consistency.

If you’re a Panini lover, do try the CHICKEN POMODORI. It’s buttery and juicy taste is awesome. And also the Orzo soup. Jus love it.
We had a fantastic experience at the Corner Bakery (140 S Dearborn St., Chicago) with our two children. The food and café latte were delightful, and the warm and friendly service from Ciara and Cher was outstanding. To top it off, our kids received a complimentary cookie, which truly made their day. We will definitely return and highly recommend this place! Greetings from Switzerland!
I stopped by for a quick snack and some iced tea, and accidentally left my wallet behind. The employees managed to figure out where I was staying and ensured that my wallet was returned to me! Thank you so much, Corner Bakery!
Lovely staff always ready early in the morning with a smile. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Service: Takeaway Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $1–10
I ordered a tomato mozerella sandwich but I couldn't eat it even though I am not a picky eater. The bread was very stale and the sandwich was very cold. It was just cold ingredients stacked on top of each other. And I paid $16 for this and a brewed coffee! Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2 Vegetarian options: The only vegetarian option was the tomato mozzarella sandwich among the sandwiches
