The Drake was amazing in all aspects. Beautiful location and all of the amenities were perfect. Our group loved the meeting rooms as well.
This neighborhood hotel bar and restaurant has a lot of potential. It has a club-like, vintage atmosphere that attracts both tourists and many local regulars. The food is quite delicious, although the presentation and quality can vary. The staff makes an effort to create a welcoming environment, but there are times when the service feels disengaged and slow. I visit about once a week and never seem to have the same experience twice. Despite the inconsistencies, it’s good enough to keep bringing me back. Be sure to try the crab cakes and the bookbinder soup!
I attended a wedding at this venue and I was blown away! It is absolutely stunning! This hotel has appeared in numerous films and is definitely a must-see.
Classic and elegant with an old-school charm that feels timeless. The interior has a refined, understated vibe that makes it a great choice for a date night or a more formal dinner. The menu leans into traditional dishes done well, and the execution shows good skill without being overly flashy. Service is attentive and polished, matching the upscale but comfortable atmosphere. Not ultra-trendy or loud, just a place that knows what it is and delivers confidently on Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $100+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
I love this place! My friend and I came for Christmas Day lunch after church, and sat at a corner table, and had the best time!! We did the holiday dinner, and it was AMAZING! I actually added a bowl of Bookbinder Soup (you have to try this) because I hadn;t had it in over 20 years! (Last time was at The Cape Cod Room) Our server, I think his name is Daryl, told me the history of the soup! He was an amazing guy! Handled the crowd with professionalism, kindness, humor, and made the meal, as far as I'm concerned! Thank you everyone for a wonderful holiday lunch!
