Great cocktails! Pizza is delicious!! Best baked mostaccioli with meat sauce I have ever had.
Love this place! It's my favorite place in Chicago, IL. It is the right amount of stylish and trendy. It has comfortable seating and the music is not too loud, so a cool, relaxed atmosphere that promotes the conversation. It is a great place to bring your friends out of town to clubbing or bar hopping before dinner or a night so you can catch up. It's also a great place to get a first date!
I made a reservation for Coco Club through OpenTable for a Friday night at 9 PM. From what I gathered online, I thought it was a speakeasy-themed bar/club featuring live music and open until 4 AM. It was described as being on the second floor above another restaurant/bar. However, upon our arrival, the staff seemed unaware of our reservation and didn't have any knowledge of the Coco Club concept as we understood it. It turned out that Coco Club is actually a banquet hall rented out for specific events. The staff offered no explanation and simply told us they had no reservations for that night, essentially letting us leave without any options. A more professional approach would have been to clarify the situation and recommend that we stay for drinks or dinner downstairs instead.
The atmosphere at this restaurant was amazing! The live music added a wonderful touch, and the service was top-notch. The highlight of the menu was definitely the Sokyo martini, which was absolutely delicious. I also loved the unique speakeasy concept. It was a delightful surprise to discover such a hidden gem in Brighton Park.
