Cita is a restaurant and bar located in or around Fulton. It was bustling with many patrons enjoying Happy Hour. The menu features a Middle Eastern influence, offering dishes like hummus, harissa, lamb, and pistachios. Everything we sampled was excellent, and the prices were quite reasonable compared to Miami. The service was outstanding as well. I recommend using Uber or public transportation, as valet parking costs $25 for four hours. Highly recommended!
The best aspect of the restaurant is its location in a vibrant area, perfect for fans of outdoor music and the hipster scene. The waitress was okay, but her energy wasn't quite right. On the positive side, the staff were very attentive. The duck entrée is more than enough to serve at least three people.
The atmosphere, service, and decor were all fantastic. The food was absolutely delicious! I visited for brunch with friends, and we sampled a variety of dishes, all of which were excellent. The drinks were not only tasty but also visually appealing.
Made a last minute reservation on Valentine’s Day after our previous place fell through. Service was on point! Took care of us, recommend a wonderful bottle of wine. Food was even better! Falafel, kafta, and the hummus were my favorites! Then we shred the lamb for two special, omg it was perfect! We even took home leftovers! Wanted to cookie for dessert but they just ran out, opted for the hazelnut Paris-Brest was just as good of an ending! Thanks for saving our v-day! Can’t wait to be back. Cira is an excellent choice in Chicago when you’re dining with a group that has mixed dietary preferences. The ambience is one of the biggest strengths here—stylish, energetic, and polished without feeling too formal. It’s the kind of place that works just as well for a celebratory dinner as it does for a casual night out with friends. The menu is broad and flexible, with options that work well for vegetarians alongside other dietary needs. Two standout items were the soufflé pancakes and the falafel burger, both of which were flavorful and well executed. Cocktails are another strong point and pair nicely with the overall vibe of the space. Service was smooth and efficient, making it easy to enjoy the experience without feeling rushed. Overall, Cira is easy to recommend for group dining in Chicago—good food, strong drinks, and a space that accommodates everyone at the table.
