Good negiri and great house negroni but I wouldn’t go back. The space doesn’t feel like a sushi destination. The first thing you see is a wall of Malort merch and if you’re sitting near that wall it’s in your face. The acoustics are poor because of the tall ceilings and the music is loud to the point the servers can’t hear your order, not to mention the people sitting across from you. This is one of my favorite bars in Chicago. If you haven't been, I will take you. I can't wait to go back! The cocktails are amazing, ask for the Eastern Empress if it's not on the menu. The food is great, again the menu changes from time to time. And the staff is some of the best!
This was a very pleasant surprise. They did not have room in the front area. But asked if we wanted to go to the lounge. This was back by the distillery tanks. This was awesome. The drinks were great and just what we were looking for. The drinks were a little pricey. But the flavors were great. I would highly recommend.
Fun place to gather at and have apps and cocktails. Love the Limoncello and the new Espresso Liqueur.
Cool place. Killer craft cocktails and their food was superb.
Excellent Old Fashioned (I had the 'bitter ' version). Quieter atmosphere very unusual for a downtown bar.
