Cerise
4.1 / 5 (2182 reviews)

Description

Situated in a prime downtown location, this rooftop bar is celebrated for its stunning views and vibrant atmosphere, making it ideal for romantic evenings or gatherings with friends. Many patrons rave about the delicious food and cocktails, along with attentive service that enhances the overall experience. However, recent reviews highlight significant service inconsistencies, with some customers facing long waits and unfriendly staff. While the ambiance can be charming, particularly during warmer months, guests recommend clearer communication regarding closing times and reservations. Overall, the venue has potential, but improvements in service and management could elevate it further.

I let myself be guided by the recommendations and sadly I had a terrible experience in this place, the terrible service of some people such as security and the DJ ruined my expectations and desire to return. I understand that a grown woman shouts you off the terrace to a certain extent, when she already abuses her “authority” to be hostile. And a DJ who, in addition to being uncharismatic (not to say unfriendly), is offended because you politely request a song, shows that you are in the wrong place.

I have visited Cerise several times, and the atmosphere is truly unique. However, during my recent visit with a group last night, I encountered some issues. I’m not sure why the rooftop area closes so early at midnight when the venue itself remains open until 2 a.m. The security guard was quite unpleasant—she was shouting at people to go inside, which created a lot of confusion. Instead of simply informing us that the rooftop was closing, she was just yelling, which felt very unprofessional and was a major letdown. As a result, many people left immediately after that incident. The DJ was just starting to warm up, and the whole experience was disappointing, especially since everyone was cramped inside.

This rooftop bar is absolutely adorable! There’s security walking around, which adds to the sense of safety. We had the pleasure of sitting at the charming swingset they offer. Our main reason for visiting was to enjoy the stunning views and have a nice drink. I couldn't resist trying their marinated Brussel sprouts, and I'm glad I did—they were delicious! The staff was incredibly friendly, always smiling, and I loved their adorable little outfits.

Look I hate leaving bad reviews but this place sucked. They popped up as one of the best places to see the city as a Rooftop bar and advertised being open later. Apparently every rooftop closes by 11 12pm around here. It was 11:15 pm when I arrived there. Bartenders were good. Got a Marg for 22$ which I was fine with if I can sit out and look at the city. Walked out one patio door about 10 seconds later a burly bouncer ish dude abruptly appears says “Bud Patios closed” in an intimidating manner and ushers me back inside. I walked 20 minutes only to be denied what I wanted to enjoy and this place advertised. Bottom line go somewhere else I promise you the hassle isn’t worth it. Cerise if you read this hire more friendly staff and CLEARLY advertise when your “outdoor patio” closes. Also hire better DJs more like Avicii and less like the trunk boom box in the back of that annoying Subaru behind you at a traffic light. You’re welcome. Ohio Guy

Decide to go to this rooftop bar 8/12 around 6pm and left at 6:45pm. The male front hostess was nice he showed me where to sit, but that was all. I had to ask for a menu and NOBODY came to take my order at all. Therefore, I left and was not wasting anymore time. If you are interested in going to a rooftop I don’t recommend this one.
