Was Mary Ward at Caffe Streets a mag?
Truly the best coffee I've ever had! I was able to pair it with delicious gluten free and vegan chocolate bread. The baristas are very knowledgable and welcoming. LOVE!!!!! View all feedback.
What Zebedee Cluff dislikes about Caffe Streets:
I’ve been coming here for 3 years and it is my go to neighborhood coffee shop. The baristas contribute to the cafe experience and I am very disappointed with the new ordering system. If I wanted to order over an app, I would have done it at the Starbucks closer to my house. It’s been sad to see the baristas disappear over the last several months. Feels like the owner is losing touch with what the cafe experience enta... View all feedback.
When I came back to Chicago, I made sure to revisit this café. I have fond memories of hanging out with friends here, and it's also a great spot to get some work done. I'm a big fan of their lattes, and my friends also loved their coffee. Definitely check this place out if you're in the Wicker Park/Division area!
The service at the restaurant was lacking and the information provided by the server was inaccurate. They insisted that a coffee called Triforce Mix was a single origin roast, but the barista at the counter mentioned they only serve one type of espresso. We asked for clarification on the espresso options, and when the server repeated the name Triforce, we still couldn't understand. After seeing the name on a sign, we clarified as "Triforce Mix," which angered the server. They waved their hands and insisted it was a single origin, causing us to apologize and end the interaction. It was evident that they wished we weren't there, displaying a rude and disappointing attitude. This kind of behavior is unacceptable and off-putting to customers.
I recently had the pleasure of discovering this hidden gem of a coffee house in the neighborhood for the first time. I was impressed by the high quality and sustainably sourced coffee and tea options. The vegan donuts were a delicious surprise, although I could taste a hint of milk and eggs in them. The atmosphere was cool and inviting, making it a great spot to get work done, especially since my local Airbnb didn't have WiFi. I appreciated the option to order ahead and pick up at their convenient window, or sit inside and enjoy the eclectic music, lovely ambiance, and helpful staff.
The coffee was amazing and I loved the atmosphere. Plus it’s a good place to explore on a summer day.
One of the best cafes in the area and they have vegan donuts!
