Feedback
Cafe Robey offers a unique dining experience in Chicago, with a mixture of positive and negative reviews. While some guests were unimpressed by the lack of initial greetings, slow service, and small portions, others enjoyed the delicious food, serene ambiance, and friendly staff. The restaurant offers a good selection of dishes, with highlights such as the smoked trout appetizer and the chicken breast. The rooftop bar, The Up Room, is praised for its stunning views and artisan drinks. Overall, Cafe Robey is recommended for those looking for a quiet and relaxing dining experience in the bustling city of Chicago.
Our first time visit to Chicago and the city was great but we found it difficult to leave this lovely hotel. Between The Up Room, room service from the cafe, the staff, the room- everything was PERFECT. I?ll be staying here for every future visit.Highly recommend!
Dope hotel. Great rooftop. A bit loud due to the L, but overall great. Corner suites are fantastic. Love the free beer and soft drinks refreshed daily in my room too. Don?t love the old school key instead of a card but many prob find it charming.
Food was good. Portions were a bit small for the price you were paying. Service was excellent! I had the biscuits and gravy. Only critique is the biscuits were way too small. I had to order more on the side.
We were visiting from Toronto with friends and were on the lookout for a fantastic brunch spot that also offered a unique tourist experience. The café is located in a stunning art deco building that is truly a gem. The neighborhood is lively and full of energy. It's definitely worth the trip from the West Loop!
This was my second visit to Cafe Robey, and I chose it for its convenient location, which is easy for my dining companion to get to. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, just as it was during my previous visit. The service is attentive, and the food is delicious and nicely presented. I'm certain I'll return again!
