It is worthy of its reputation. It's clear that there is a a lot of pride in this place from the staff and so deeply appreciate that and the attention to detail.
My fiancé and I were on the hunt for the perfect venue (The Hall) to celebrate our engagement and The Robey's staff and event coordinator made it an absolute dream come true. Jillian our main point of contact and event coordinator went above and beyond to make sure our vision came to life. She made sure to put so much care into our celebration and never made us feel like we were asking for too much. Everything that we asked for she made it happen. She was such a pleasure to work with and The Robey is so incredibly lucky to have such a caring, responsive, and kind person like Jillian to be a part of their team. We are so thankful to her for allowing our special night be such an unforgettable one. In addition, the staff for our event was just as kind, considerate, and a joy to be a part of our celebration. They were beyond kind to me and all my guests and it made the biggest difference in having such lovely people staff our event. I really cannot express enough how grateful my fiancé are to have had such a wonderful staff be a part of our joyous night. The food, event space, staff, and accomodations were an absolute 10/10. Thank you Jillian and The Robey team! Service: 5
Food was good. Portions were a bit small for the price you were paying. Service was excellent! I had the biscuits and gravy. Only critique is the biscuits were way too small. I had to order more on the side.
We were visiting from Toronto with friends and were on the lookout for a fantastic brunch spot that also offered a unique tourist experience. The café is located in a stunning art deco building that is truly a gem. The neighborhood is lively and full of energy. It's definitely worth the trip from the West Loop!
This was my second visit to Cafe Robey, and I chose it for its convenient location, which is easy for my dining companion to get to. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, just as it was during my previous visit. The service is attentive, and the food is delicious and nicely presented. I'm certain I'll return again!
