I think this place was great! Was a little concerned when I saw it wasn't busy, but I think people are just not aware of this place. Food was good, on par with most GOOD Chicago breakfast spots. Loved the coffee! Also, waitress kept our cups full Bacon, sausage, pancakes and eggs were cooked just right. Food not too salty like some places, seasoned just right. Great people running the place. Also, I would say prices are mid-range not cheap eats as posted on Google. Will be back again!
The best part about our dining experience is the waitress Cathy. A friendly highly energetic woman who is very attentive. She didn 't do the 'routine server ' rounds because the rounds she did make felt way more genuine. She picked up any trash that was accumulating on the table and was very friendly. The food was pretty good. I got the new York strip special which came with toast. Good selection of toasts available instead of just the normal white or wheat selection. The steak was cooked exactly as requested, the has browns were great and the eggs were also correctly cooked to my preference. I really recommend this nice quaint restaurant. I do not recommend going there with a party any larger than 6 people as there is only one place for you to sit, and if there is a party there that size, you won 't be able to be accommodated.
Promptly seated by the host. Cathy (Kathy) was a sweetheart! Super job! On the ball, and a lot of laughs. Cozy, comfortable, though not a huge place. Outside seating is available. Chicken waffles was well received. Crisp, light coating on boneless breasts. Waffle divided in 4 triangles. Western omelet was a first time try ever and was very tasty. Nice variety of fruit on the side. The Conway County skillet was a great choice. Savory, crisp hash browns, and eggs just right. We'll be back!!
Good food. I ordered an omelet and it tasted delicious. It was the right portion. Its a friendly atmosphere, small but cozy.
