My grandson loves the Chicken... read more I really enjoy having Buona Beef in the neighborhood. I generally purchase the salads. Although I do enjoy the chicken sandwiches. My grandson loves the Chicken Fettuccini Alfredo. Paul and D.J. are my favorite managers. They are always welcoming and professional. I like using the App to pre order for pickups. It is very convenient. I also like the point system. At one time I had 30,000 points.

This sandwich literally had no flavor whatsoever..probably one of the more bland sandwiches I have had in many a year. Also they do not have a vegan juice or sauce to baptize or to make the vegan Italian Beef wet so it is akin to swallowing a mouth full of sawdust with each bite. The restaurant itself is great and it has very friendly employees in a relatively new building so I am sure the non vegan dishes here are extraordinary. But for vegans wanting to visit to try the Vegan Italian Beef..it is a fail. All others who are visiting for the rest of the menu items..for sure make this a stop when in Beverly

I actually think Portillo's in the neighborhood is a bit better and here's why: The bread! Buona's rolls are too hard and the sausage a bit too dry. This is a good but not great Beef Sausage Combo. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy this place, it's just not the best: hence 4 stars not 5!

Their Google response to reviews is scripted and reflects poor comprehension and their ability to address consumer feedback properly. When you order extra meat and the sandwich is still wimpy.....$16 for a sandwich that mostly gravy bread is highway robbery. You shouldn't have to pay extra for hot peppers for one and then there still be a lack of hot peppers on the sandwich regardless. What am I paying for, air? The food quality and quantity is poor if it's not prepared properly. And when I submit feedback about it all you get is a thank you, we love making our customers happy. What the heck did you read? You want pissed customer? Now you got yourself one. We'll be better off making our own beef sandwiches at home....Bari beef is a good option. They sell a 5 lb case of Bari beef and gravy......reasonably priced. You can get the rolls and hot or sweet peppers all on 70th/State....a wholesale outlet. You'll come out way better than throwing your money away to Buona. Make your own Italian beef at home because it's not worth it to eat at Buona. They've done nothing to address the same complaint by several customers.
