Tucked into Hyde Park/Woodlawn near Blackstone, this neighborhood cafe is a warm, community-minded spot serving excellent coffee, inventive drinks, fresh pastries and very generous sandwiches. Bright, homey indoor seating and a sunny outdoor patio make it ideal for work, meetings or lingering with local zines and books. Friendly staff, steady music and a lively weekend crowd during the farmers market add charm; expect a snug footprint and occasional morning noise. Masks are required for ordering.

This coffee shop is decent overall, but it’s a bit pricy, and my jambon-beurre was unexpectedly cold. It seems they get it pre-made from Publican but don’t warm it up. The space feels a bit cramped, the selection of poetry books is average, and the coffee is okay. It just wasn’t the right atmosphere for me.
Very cool coffee shop just north of Hyde Park. Lots of cool material for inspiring cultural contemplation. Sweet spot near the old steam plant.
My favorite coffee spot in the Hyde Park/Woodlawn area is consistently excellent. The atmosphere is fantastic, the people are amazing, and the coffee is top-notch. They also have great zines and serve as a wonderful gathering space for the community.

The lattes and espresso drinks here are not only delicious but also quite affordable. I enjoyed browsing through the zines and books; they were a lot of fun. I really love my neighborhood! ❤️
