Bourbon Cafe And Chicago

I had an incredible experience at this restaurant! My husband is Serbian, so while we were in Chicago, I decided to take him to an authentic Serbian restaurant. He was thrilled with the idea and we were both so glad we went to Bourbon Café. The food reminded him of his childhood and brought back wonderful memories. I highly recommend this place. The staff was extremely friendly and my husband enjoyed hearing Serbian being spoken around him.

Today, Tuesday, there was a 20% discount at the restaurant. The previous waiter left without introducing the new waiter, but the food, which was a delicious blend of Mediterranean and Serbian cuisine, was incredible. The new waiter was very friendly and the cocktails were perfectly made. The surprise of fresh, hot bread was a nice touch, although the napkins provided were on the smaller side.

As we were leaving, the owner came out to greet us and introduced himself. He was very friendly and asked for our opinions on the restaurant. We praised the atmosphere, service, and food. He even invited us to come back for their Monday night belly dancing event. Although we haven't been able to return due to distance, we would love to have a reunion there. It's been five or six years since our visit, but we still fondly remember our time at the restaurant.
