We went on Wednesday for the arepa special. The moment our plates were placed in front of us, fruit flies flew around us. The arepas were bland and less than mediocre. When our bill came, we were not granted the deal because we ordered from the signature section rather the the traditional. Neither the sign on the door or the waiter indicated the Wednesday deal. I'm going to stick with the Hermosa neighborhood arepas.
Found this place on a whim and so glad we did! The food was incredible! Definitely recommend the Arepas!
This restaurant is absolutely amazing. Gluten free options are endless. The arepas and empanadas are outstanding and are a must try. The plantains are out of this world. The yuca fries are also excellent (not sure if those are gluten free or not). Highly recommend the arepa with pork and gouda cheese.
