Here to give an absolutely joyous 5 star review of this place, because if I could give 10 I would. My husband and I actually ordered this *online* through Uber Eats. Ordered the faroe island salmon bowl, the whipped feta and a salad. We travel all the time for work, and I'm constantly saying that what I desperately want is a restaurant that makes delicious, seasoned staple items without over saucing/buttering/etc. We... What andre dislikes about Beatrix Loop:
I finally decided to return after having a rather unusual and disappointing experience in the past. Unfortunately, the service was just as lacking this time. For most of our visit, we were the only table occupied, and when the restaurant was busy, there were only three tables filled. Each time our server came by, we had to flag them down. It was frustrating to watch us take our last sips, pushing our cups to the edge... View all feedback.

We stopped by for dinner before a show and enjoyed the theater menu, which featured delicious food and generous portions. The service was also outstanding.
It was fantastic! all enjoyed their eating and drinks, and the service was excellent
Great atmosphere for the lunch plus a good coffee bar to follow up the meeting with a day closing email burst.
**Restaurant Review: A Mixed Bag of Experiences** The dining landscape at this restaurant presents a striking contrast of experiences. While some patrons rave about delicious salads, accommodating service, and memorable group gatherings, others lament poor service and disappointing food quality. Many noted a decline in menu items and a lack of attentiveness, with some servers appearing disengaged. Despite these inconsistencies, positive interactions shine through, highlighting staff efficiency and delectable offerings, particularly during special events. As loyal customers grapple with recent changes and customer feedback seems overlooked, the restaurant stands at a crossroads, needing to address these concerns to reclaim its former glory.

I was very disappointed with my experience at this Beatrix location. The waiter approached our table, just standing there and staring at us without introducing himself. He lacked professionalism and friendliness, and I even had to ask him if he was our waiter and if he could recommend some dishes. It felt like he was going through the motions, completely disengaged from his job. Additionally, the quality of the food was below expectations and quite disappointing. Overall, I was unhappy with both the service and the food quality.
Excellent experience! This was my first visit to this location, but I frequently support many of the Ley restaurants. I believe our waiter was Dan, and he did a fantastic job!
This is a fantastic spot in downtown for families with kids. It’s a lively environment with other children around, allowing you to enjoy the downtown dining experience. They serve excellent coffee, have a kid-friendly menu, and the food is delicious.
Excellent place for a delicious and yet simple lunch. Prices are reasonable and service is good. You will like it and will go back!
I hosted a large group of 10 co Workers for a pre-theater dinner many different items were selected from the menu, and everyone enjoyed the meal and bevrrages. Our server, Jorge/George was wonderfully attentive without being disruptive. And we finished without being rushed, and got to Hamilton on time. Wonderful experience.

I've been eating here since it first opened, and I recently returned for breakfast, but I noticed some disappointing changes. Our long-time waitress was no longer there, and the menu had taken a turn for the worse. The French toast, which used to be delicious, was poorly cooked and pretty much inedible. The lemon pancakes were also raw inside. Even the bacon seemed different! Although our waitress was very nice, none of our drinks were refilled, and my iced tea ran dry. I'm not sure if I'll be coming back, which is a real shame because this used to be my favorite breakfast spot. I heard the menu changes were the idea of the executive chef—maybe they should consider asking their customers for feedback!
The service was excellent, and the food was fantastic. The drinks were a bit on the small side, but overall, it was a wonderful experience!

Definitely my favorite Beatrix. Food and service was excellent. It's also not as crowded as the others I've been too.Food: 5/5

Huge thank you to Miriam at Beatrix Market for asking the kitchen to make me a breakfast sandwich even though it wasn’t an option this morning. It made my day and just appreciate her for making it happen even though I’m sure it’s not something typically done. Overall, this a really great place to grab breakfast and lunch on the go. Fresh ingredients and plenty of choices. Also, the chai tea latte is delicious and I would absolutely stop by for it the next time I’m in Chicago .
A nice spot for a quick and healthy meal. The selection of salads, sandwiches, and grab-and-go options is fresh and flavorful. It’s convenient for a lunch break, though seating can be limited and it gets crowded during peak hours. Prices are reasonable for the area.

(you feel me?! . I can only imagine that if Beatrix Loop was this delicious after transport it is approximately 3 million times more delicious at the restaurant. You should go eat there, because you like good food and they have it. Atmosphere: 5

I have been a loyal customer of Beatrix for a long time, often visiting locations such as the Food Court at Water Tower Place, Chicago, Clark Street Grand Avenue, and Northwestern Memorial, to name a few. I was disappointed to discover that Beatrix does not accept online delivery orders for the Marketplace. The only way to enjoy the Marketplace food is by visiting in person, as it operates on a self-serve basis. While I don’t mind paying for the weight of the food, I find this to be an unnecessary inconvenience. I left a message for Natalie two weeks ago asking her to share my feedback, but I’m unsure if she did, or if management simply chose to overlook my concerns. Which is it?
Wonderful restaurant! I highly recommend trying the flatbread options and the fries. The service is excellent, and the atmosphere is inviting and enjoyable.
