Base Cafe
Description
Housed in a converted warehouse at Bridgeport Art Center near the Chicago Maritime Museum, this hybrid café-workshop pairs expertly roasted coffee and standout bagel sandwiches—think towering Monster Bagels and a memorable bagel-and-lox—with friendly, attentive service. The eclectic, laid-back space offers ample outdoor seating and easy parking at reasonable prices. Unusual added value: on-site tech repair, laptop sales/support and a CBD café menu. Locals praise quick, transparent repairs and helpful staff, making it a go-to spot for coffee, breakfast and device fixes.

I've tried em all, and this is unquestionably the best coffee in Bridgeport. They have the roasting and brewing process dialed in, and they're handy with computers too! Very nice people, highly recommend stopping by.
Really nice staff, cool embiance, SUPER cool music playing, BUT THE FOOD DRINKS — EXCELLENT.
I took my computer to Boi at base it was starting to fail and I wanted to save my pictures. The price was fair and the work done quickly. When some of my pictures didn't come out I brought in my old phone and base downloaded those too and didn't charge me any more! I was very pleased with the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. Most importantly Boi discussed the prices and options before we started and allowed me to use a payment plan. I highly recommend them!
