This is such a lovely place, with beautiful gardens of flowers and edibles--she has pumpkins, tomatoes, SO MUCH TO EAT! The food here is really yummy, and the servers are attentive. What Brayke doesn't like about Bacino's Italian Grill:
I really had high hopes for this place considering the location by Lincoln park and the golfing range. I ordered a hotdog and honestly it was perfect. On the other hand my girlfriend ordered a ham and cheese panini and it was so bland, it really was justham and some cheese on a panini bun, barely any cheese and barley any butter. Great to bar to stop at for a cold drink on a hot day. Service was good. They gave us a free beer for solving the riddle
The pizza and atmosphere were excellent, but the wait for the food was quite long—around 40 minutes.
This restaurant is fantastic! The prices are reasonable, and the portion sizes are huge. I ordered a meatball sub with fries, and it must have weighed at least 5 pounds. It was enormous! If you enjoy indulging, this is a great deal. I loved it and will definitely be returning!
We arrived 30 minutes before closing, drawn in by the charming hanging lights, colorful lounge chairs, and a delightful outdoor picnic atmosphere. Our waitress informed us that the kitchen had already issued last call for food, but she kindly offered to check with the kitchen team on our behalf. We were thrilled when she confirmed they could still serve us. After ordering drinks from the cute tiki bar, our piping hot food arrived at the table. We had a couple of pizzas (which could feed 2-3 people) and a couple of sandwiches. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food, especially for a small shack at Diversey Harbor. I really enjoyed the relaxed vibe, excellent service, and tasty dishes. I will definitely be returning!
Charming atmosphere with a relaxed vibe. The service was a bit slow, but it was still attentive. The farm-to-table concept is great, and while the place is simple, the food is consistently delicious. We're definitely fans!
