Description

AraOn offers solid Asian and sushi options in Chicago's Loop, with a nice atmosphere and good service. While the food is tasty, service can be inconsistent and slow at times. The unique blend of Korean, Japanese, and American flavors adds intrigue to the menu. Guests enjoy a warm welcome from the owner and chef, Jimmy, who ensures a pleasant dining experience. Some minor issues like slow service and outdated decor may arise, but the delicious food, particularly sushi, makes up for it. Great for a quiet evening of conversation, and worth a return visit for the enjoyable meals provided.

My hot tea was cold; however, the food was fantastic

The service was really slow and the credit card machine was down causing even more delays. Our waitress was very apologetic, but didn’t flag it ahead of time we had to ask several times for an update. Also no modifications to the bill Despite poor service and delays. I’ve been before and it’s been a much better experience, but today was not great

It was amazing! The owner came by and brought us out a sushi roll of My wife’s choice. It was an awesome Valentines Day Date!

I found the food at AraOn to be pretty average overall. It wasn't bad, but it also didn't stand out as extraordinary. The atmosphere was excellent and the service was very good. While there are better Asian/Sushi restaurants in Chicago, AraOn is a solid choice if you're in the Loop. I would definitely consider going back to AraOn.
