This rustic Italian restaurant in Andersonville has a mixed bag of reviews. While some diners raved about the amazing food and impeccable service, others were unimpressed by the bland and watery pasta dishes. The noise level in the dining room was a point of contention for some, while others enjoyed the cozy atmosphere. Despite some complaints, many patrons found the restaurant to be a solid neighborhood spot worth checking out, especially for the delicious appetizers and desserts. With a diverse menu and a nice wine list, this Italian spot seems to have something for everyone, whether you're looking for a romantic date night or a casual meal with friends.

This place is good ole’ Italian food that isn’t trying to be anything else. I wouldn’t say that it isn’t inventive, but sometimes you just want good food to enjoy in a warm and inviting atmosphere. The ravioli was the best but I really enjoyed my mushrooms!! We will def be back and hope to try to desserts! View all feedback.
What Hallie Nolan dislikes about Anteprima:
The food and service were excellent. However, the noise level in the dining room was quite loud, and the music felt unnecessary. My biggest complaint was that a birthday dessert was not provided. The server was aware that we were celebrating a milestone birthday and mentioned it several times to the staff. Unfortunately, the dessert was included on the bill, which was disappointing. We had our best meal here! Armando is my favorite server ever! The mussels were just delicious as was my friends lobster bisque. My friend had the ravioli- Iâve never tasted better! The bucatini amatriciana was just devine! As always we shared the lemon panna cotta and hazelnut torte deserts we can never resist!
We're never disappointed by the delicious food at Anteprima. We even have gotten takeout there during the pandemic.
We love Antiprima. And after a long time away, it was a gift to come back to the same fabulous menu and wonderful ambience and staff.
I ordered the special meatloaf, and it was incredible. The portions look small but are actually very satisfying, and the seasoning and cooking were perfect! The waiter was very kind and attentive. The potatoes were delicious, though the cold salad caught us off guard since it was unexpected—it's meant to be served cold, but I'm just a picky eater. Definitely recommend this charming spot for a date night!
Grilled Octopus Trout. The ambiance is lovely, and the waitstaff are outstanding. Although my meal took a while to arrive, it was definitely worth the wait for a fresh, hot dish. I dislike when food sits under heat lamps for too long at fine dining places. Also, be sure to taste your meal before adding extra seasoning—this is authentic Italian cuisine, showcasing true Italian flavors and seasoning.
