Description

This rustic Italian restaurant in Andersonville has a mixed bag of reviews. While some diners raved about the amazing food and impeccable service, others were unimpressed by the bland and watery pasta dishes. The noise level in the dining room was a point of contention for some, while others enjoyed the cozy atmosphere. Despite some complaints, many patrons found the restaurant to be a solid neighborhood spot worth checking out, especially for the delicious appetizers and desserts. With a diverse menu and a nice wine list, this Italian spot seems to have something for everyone, whether you're looking for a romantic date night or a casual meal with friends.

I ordered the special meatloaf, and it was incredible. The portions look small but are actually very satisfying, and the seasoning and cooking were perfect! The waiter was very kind and attentive. The potatoes were delicious, though the cold salad caught us off guard since it was unexpected—it's meant to be served cold, but I'm just a picky eater. Definitely recommend this charming spot for a date night!

Grilled Octopus Trout. The ambiance is lovely, and the waitstaff are outstanding. Although my meal took a while to arrive, it was definitely worth the wait for a fresh, hot dish. I dislike when food sits under heat lamps for too long at fine dining places. Also, be sure to taste your meal before adding extra seasoning—this is authentic Italian cuisine, showcasing true Italian flavors and seasoning.

I sat on the heated patio, and it was really comfortable! The food was amazing, as always. There's a reason you need to make reservations here—it's top-notch food and service. You'll have a hard time finding better Italian cuisine anywhere else.

This is a great neighborhood restaurant with delicious food and an extensive wine list. I visited on a Saturday, and the place was packed, but since I made a reservation, we were seated right away. You can't go wrong with fresh pasta! Our waitress, Stacy, was very attentive even on such a busy night, and she even took the time to light a birthday candle for my friend's dessert. I'm excited to try out the patio on my next visit. I’ve attached pictures of the black linguini with shrimp (spicy), calamari appetizer, and mushroom appetizer.

We've dined here multiple times, and it consistently offers a great meal. The three appetizers and the spinach pappardelle were delightful. The three desserts were also enjoyable. If you're in Andersonville, this place is definitely worth a visit.
