I had an incredible time at Alinea. Of course, the food was beyond reproach, but I wanted to note the staff. I'm a bit wild when I go to michelin restaurants as a way to loosen up the often tight atmosphere and the staff here were very fun in the interaction. Simply stated: this was the best dining experience I've had (so far). Alinea has been on my list of restaurants to dine at for some time, but honestly the
I had (quite possibly) the best meal of my life here.
There isn't much to say that hasn't already been said, but I do want to point out that as VIP as this, it is nothing to be intimidated by.
The food was excellent, but don't expect them to make any accommodations for lactose intolerance—I wasn't able to fully enjoy all the dishes.
