In addition to classic Italian drinks like spritzes and negronis, the menu features craft cocktails, beer, and spirits. Excellent evening. We created a tasting menu for two by ordering and sharing 2 appies (frito misto, meatballs), pear salad, seafood pasta and dessert. It was excellent. Wine pairings were good. The almost Pinot noir was pleasant. Neighbourhood gem!
We had the best meal of our lives here. Pear salad, Arancini, Gnocchi al Forno, a d Chicken Piccata. Can you say heaven?
Acanto is a very nice upscale Italian restaurant kind of tucked in on Michigan Avenue next to the Gahe )s fine restaurant also). Solid food, strong service and a comfortable candle lit atmosphere. .
