Modern setting, flavors that pop, professional service: one of the most happening places happening right now in Chicago.
I went here for my birthday dinner and had an amazing experience! Staff was friendly, nice ambiance and food was tooooo good. One of my new favorite spots in the west loop.
The staff were outstanding, and the food was fantastic. This was my third time dining at Aba, and I will certainly be coming back.
Aba has swiftly become one of my top dining spots. The stunning decor, mouthwatering dishes, and fantastic cocktails make it a place I’m always eager to recommend.
**Aba: A Culinary Gem in Fulton Market**
Nestled in the vibrant Fulton Market area, Aba offers a charming atmosphere with stunning views, making it an ideal spot for both romantic evenings and casual gatherings. While many diners rave about the delectable dishes—especially the short rib hummus and pistachio cake—others found some offerings less impressive, like the lamb chops. The service is generally welcoming and attentive, with a comfortable noise level even during busy times. Despite mixed reviews on certain meals, Aba's beautiful design, outdoor seating, and lively ambiance ensure a memorable dining experience worthy of a visit. Reservations are recommended, particularly for larger groups.

As anticipated, Aba was stunning, featuring an indoor-outdoor layout that's ideal for summer dining. We enjoyed the Smoky Garlic Hummus, Whipped Feta, Green Falafel, and Brussels Sprouts for our meal, all of which were delicious and great for sharing. For drinks, we ordered the One for the Road mocktail. Our waitress was fantastic and apologetic, but the overall service was quite slow. We were still without a table 15 minutes after our reservation time, and the hostess couldn't provide any estimate on when one would be available. Eventually, we ended up on a couch, which was fine, but it left us wondering about the purpose of making a reservation in the first place. Overall, the ambiance was incredible and the food was tasty, but the service left something to be desired.
We had been looking forward to visiting this restaurant for a long time, given its excellent reviews. The atmosphere was fantastic, and the service was impressive. However, we were disappointed with the food. The Grilled Chicken Kebab plate seemed to be lacking in flavor, and the kebabs were tough, chewy, and dry. The Chicken Kefta plates were similar in quality. I have to believe this isn't representative of the restaurant's usual offerings, considering the many positive reviews. Unfortunately, my impression is based solely on our experience today.
After waiting three weeks for a reservation, I found the experience to be quite overrated. Our table had a lovely view of the Willis Tower, which was a nice touch. We ordered the whipped feta with naan, Brussels sprouts, crispy potatoes, halibut, and lamb chops. Everything was good except for the lamb chops. I honestly don’t believe this restaurant is worth a three-week wait. There are plenty of other places in Chicago that offer more authentic flavors in a pleasant atmosphere. Just my two cents!
We had a wonderful experience at Aba celebrating my daughter’s Birthday! The food was very flavorful, the drinks were perfect, the service was great, and the atmosphere was beautiful! Definitely worth coming back to! I highly recommend the lamb chops, everyone loved them!
Beautiful Mediterranean decor with a huge rooftop patio. The rooftop patio has really comfy sofas. The service was very attentive. Most importantly: The food was remarkable. Everything we ordered was absolutely amazing: the classic hummus, the whipped feta, the green falafel, the brussels sprouts, and the lamb/beef kefta. Everything was 10/10 in terms of quality, flavor, texture, moisture, and presentation. Would definitely come back and reorder everything we got. Made me miss Palestine.Vegetarian options: Easy to get vegetarian option off the menuDietary restrictions: Easy to get gluten free options off the menu

The restaurant has a charming atmosphere, and even when it's bustling, the noise level is quite manageable, which is very pleasant. For larger groups, it's necessary to make reservations well in advance, but it seems you can usually find a table for two without one. The service was excellent, although we did have to wait a bit to be seated even though we had a reservation. The food was absolutely delicious! We shared the eggplant spread—definitely ask for extra pita, as it's fantastic! I ordered the Kefta and eggs, which was quite hearty and could easily be shared between two people. The pistachio cake was also incredible!
Incredible restaurant! We tried six different dishes, and every single one was fantastic. The standout dishes were the Chicken Kefta and the pistachio orange cake—both were truly exceptional. I highly recommend checking this place out, but be sure to make a reservation!
The short rib hummus is fantastic! The breads are incredibly soft and pair perfectly with the hummus. However, the grilled chicken was a bit dry, and the eggplant spread didn’t have much flavor of eggplant. Nonetheless, it's such a charming restaurant; the plants, lights, and decor make it a perfect spot for a Saturday girls' brunch.
Ambience is just right for a night out. Note, two tops felt awkwardly placed but could have been the seating gods were not with me that night. Food was so delicious. The short rib hummus is a must order along with the black truffle orzo. You will not be disappointed. Trust me! Brussel sprouts with the balsamic are winners too. And don't skip dessert. Nice date night locale or night out with the girls.

This place is beautiful!!! We really wanted to be seated on the patio area but found sitting inside very pleasant with various lighting and decor. Not to mention the food! The dishes were all shareable and delicious along with outstanding bread!! Itwas suggested that each person order a couple of dishes to share which was provided each of us more than enough to eat. Dinehere and just enjoy the experience. Simply marvelous!!!
I loved the atmosphere of this place. Each dish I tried was good. I had the lamb hummus, green falafel, and short ribs. All had a lovely unique taste. The customer service at the front was lacking just a little. One actually hung up when i called to ask aquestion and didn't confirm if i needed anything else. I understand they were busy, but they weren't really attentive.Thankfully my waiter waiter and the surrounding waiters were awesome even if they weren't serving my table. I would definitelylove to come back and sit in there rooftop terrace area.
As a Real Estate Broker, I pride myself in knowing what my community has to offer. Aba is a wonderful dining experience! The small plates are packed with decadent texture and flavor. The ambiance feels luxurious. We reserved an indoor table but theglorious fall evening begged for roof-top seating, which the staff were willing to accommodate. We had a wonderful evening without-of-town friends feasting, drinking and laughing. Thank you Aba for helping us show them a great time!
Went to Aba for happy hour on Sunday afternoon and the place was packed. Enjoyed my $7 wine (smooth with deep note). We also shared a plate of grilled cauliflower which was delicious and beautifully charred. Would definitely come back here for a properdinner. Drinks and cocktails are not quite the highlights of our experience. Regardless the place is absolutely adorable and Ilove their lounge area!
I enjoyed a very nice meal at the bar here. The ambiance is very chill. I would love to come back for dinner out on the rooftop/patio. We ordered the shortrib hummus, whipped feta, braised shortribs, crispy potatoes and frozen Greek yogurt.Everything was very good- well seasoned, great flavor and cooked appropriately. The service was wonderful and despite beingbusy, walking into the bar was not difficult and we did not have a long wait for anything.

I was introduced to Aba through Chicago Restaurant Week 2026. The service was very warm and engaging. I enjoyed everything I ordered and the setting was beautiful. We sat on the heated, covered balcony. This was absolutely beautiful with the snowy backdrop. I can't wait to be back! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
