Fantastic breakfast stop! We went to 3rd Coast Cafe to start our weekend in Chicago, and it was an amazing stop. My omelette was made to perfection, and my wife really enjoyed her chocolate chip pancakes and hashbrowns. It is worth the trip down the steps to the 3rd Coast Cafe for a delicious breakfast with a pleasant atmosphere! Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Highly recommended for their diverse breakfast options. The Eggs Benedict was excellent, though the omelettes were a bit overdone. Service was outstanding. I will certainly visit again, although the cozy space tends to get noisy when crowded, particularly during busy weekend breakfast hours. One odd thing was that their Bloody Mary, promoted as a $10 special, was actually listed at that same price on the regular menu.

The food was delightful, but the drinks truly took center stage. Their hot chocolate with peppermint schnapps was the best I've ever had. It had the perfect balance of peppermint flavor, adding a festive touch without overwhelming the drink with the taste of alcohol.
