Ate at this small pleasant spot yesterday evening with 3 couples. Excellent meal, owner Peter is very friendly and capable, speaks enough to help us all choose from their menu that appears to change every day. He chose our wines, both around 12 euros, and good choices. Overall we we very well satisfied with this fairly new restaurant in the old section of town. View all feedback.
We visited on Sunday evening soon after they started serving. We enjoyed pleasant seating on the square. There was no printed menu the main man who looked after us explained that their offer changes every day. Our Italian is very limited and he was very helpful in explaining the options in partial English, so that we could make a choice. Some cold meats were served as an antipasta with bread, which we followed up with spaghetti with large prawns for my companion and a fishy, crumbly, tarty dish for me which was delicious. We both had a slice of fish with potato as a second course. It was all very good quality food, prepared and cooked to a high standard. I had a glass of wine and we shared a bottle of water. With no printed menu I did not know what the bill would be. €40 for the two of us! Less than half what we have paid in nearby restaurants. This was good simple homely cooking and very good value. Highly recommended.
