It's not that this restaurant is hidden but it does lie on the edge of the main restaurant area, so it's easily overlooked. It was shame we had eaten lunch and were not able to try more on the menu but what we had was memorable. We shared a focaccia con formaggio which was beautifully thin and crispy and served with a selection of breads which were the best breads I think I've eaten in Italy. After that we both went... Tavern on the long sea of old style kiavari with friendly and courteous staff ... cuisine based on fish of excellent quality and exquisite. will certainly be pleasant a return if will happen the occasion and recommend. Congratulations.
We are often in the gulf of the tigullio and is one of our favorite restaurants over time we have repeatedly tried the dishes available in the menu, always excellent quality matter and ability of the chef correct and honest price for the quality received strongly recommended
I already wrote a review after dining at Antica Trattoria dell’Angiolina in 2019. I was from finally able to return for the first time after the start of the pandemic, so this is an update to my previous review. The exceptional quality of food and the warm hospitality have not changed a bit since I was there in 2019. Among my favorite dishes at this trattoria are the insalata di mare calda (warm seafood salad), the spaghetti all’Angiolina, and their scampi which are superbly cooked with their secret recipe. Their home-made budino (similar to a flan, just much more delicious) is an excellent way to end the meal. Don’t forget to ask the owners about their wine selection, you can’t go wrong there!
Definitely recommend. Old style trattoria, we had tasty stuffed squids, and excellent spaghetti all’angiolina with seafood. Also dessert and wine were very good.
