I was staying at a hotel nearby and picked up breakfast stuff from this market. It was a bit busy, but accessible by foot. It has everything you expect, and was a convenient location. View all feedback.
What Michael L doesn't like about Wfm Coffee:
Grateful for the absence of panhandlers at the front of the store. The customer service area was chaotic with returns intermingled with employee applications in a crooked lineup. Took way too long to return some unwanted keto snacks even with the receipt. The hot foods bar was neater at 2 pm than yesterday at 4 pm. Chicken tikka masala at $12/lb was tasty. View all feedback.

Rude cashier. No greet,no smile, nothing. she throw my meat rudely and heavily. Wont come back again
Four stars out the gate! In my opinion, the best Whole Foods Market in the area. It's bougie as ever and I love it! The goods? Excellent selection in the seafood department. Where else can you get fresh lobster cakes and salmon Wellington? Reasonably priced produce. During a recent visit, I snagged some organic apples at $2.29 per pound and two pineapples for $5.40...thanks to my Prime membership. Beautiful and affordable flowers in the floral department. Top-notch bakery department. Cakes taste as good as they look. The lemon curd bars are delicious. Unfortunately, the eats at the hot and cold bars have gone up to $11.99 per pound. Yes, it's pricey. But worth every penny. The collard greens and pork carnitas are my favorites. FYI: The honchos finally put us out of our misery and gave this location a self-checkout station. The days of waiting in a ridiculously long line are over. Now, I'm able to get in and out of this store in less than twenty minutes flat. Pro tip: The Amazon locker concept is still the best thing since sliced bread. You can get groceries and pick up an Amazon package in one visit. How convenient!
For a supermarket in Chevy Chase, this is pretty big. It has all the stations you would expect from a Whole Foods (specialty cheeses, fresh produce, local offerings, bakery, fresh seafood, fresh meat, etc) See photos. There are some tables and chairs on the main level and the lower level where I see a lot of people on their laptops. This Whole Foods does have some prepared/hot food options so you can grab a meal and just work from here. In terms of parking, there is an attached garage that you will want to enter from the Friendship Blvd. They do valid parking tickets if the duration is less than 1.5 hours. No min purchase necessary. They now have self checkout counters in addition to the regular human manned checkouts. Not sure if the self checkouts can validate parking though. Though because it is smaller than other Whole Foods in MD, sometimes they doesn't offer what you are looking for. One time I was looking for shallots and they said they didn't have them. But the the staff were friendly and tried their best to help me find them. Prices are still expensive of course for Whole Foods. But at least the quality and organization of the store is there.
This is the cleanest Whole Foods store I've ever been to. The staff is always super friendly and willing to help. This store used to have major long lines but since they've installed a self-check out lane, they've cleared almost all the foot traffic.
